At Cornell Tech we’re putting our money where our mouth is.

Last week, Dean Dan Huttenlocher announced the winners of the first Startup Awards at the final Open Studio of the semester. Five student startup companies were selected by panel of experts from outside and within Cornell Tech to receive $40,000 to continue work on their startup and a year of free co-working space.

The awards were made possible thanks to a $200,000 grant from the Blackstone Charitable Foundation and Forest City Ratner Companies for providing the office space.
