Only faculty, staff, academics, and PhD students with assigned desks are permitted to host visitors past the Bloomberg Center lobby turnstiles or into any Cornell Tech academic/office space. All others are encouraged to utilize the outdoor campus spaces and/or the Café area to meet with guests.
As of April 11, 2022 screening and review of proof of vaccination documents is no longer required to visit the Cornell Tech campus. Be aware that requirements may change quickly – impacting your visit – if COVID-19 transmission rates increase on campus or within the local community, or in response to local, state, or federal guidelines or requirements.
Face masks are optional outside of the classroom setting and are available at the security desk at no cost. It is the responsibility of the Cornell Tech host to ensure that any guest is in compliance with all Cornell Tech COVID-19 health and safety measures.
The House at Cornell Tech is under a modified guest/visitor policy due to COVID-19 safety concerns. Only immediate family members (parents, siblings, spouse/partners) and caregivers (childcare) are allowed to visit any amenity or apartment spaces or stay overnight in The House. In shared apartments all apartment mates must indicate that they are in agreement with an overnight stay of a visitor who meets this criteria by contacting firstname.lastname@example.org. We appreciate your attention to this safety measure as we have many families with children who are not able to be vaccinated and their safety as well as the safety of all residents is important for the entire community.
