Academic or business related events, unit gatherings, symposia or other similar gatherings are currently allowed on campus.

All event attendees, regardless of vaccination status, must wear a face covering when inside campus buildings or facilities. Unvaccinated attendees are also required to wear a face covering when attending an outdoor event where physical distancing is not possible.

Proof of vaccination will be required upon event check in. Vaccination status may be confirmed digitally or via hard copy documentation. If proof of vaccination cannot be provided, the event attendee must present a negative non-rapid COVID-19 PCR test taken within the previous 72 hours. Vaccination status may also be conferred via written attestation. It is the responsibility of the Event Manager/Organizer to ensure all attendees are in compliance with all applicable Cornell Tech COVID-19 health and safety measures.

Food and drink are discouraged for any indoor meetings or events that are short in duration or lasting only a few hours. Food and drink may be provided for events that are longer in duration or that last all day. However, in these cases, it is recommended that food and beverage be pre-prepared/pre-packaged to avoid any unnecessary congregating around food stations. In all cases, individuals should only remove their face coverings while actively eating or drinking. If possible, individuals should eat outside, distance while eating, and avoid large groups.
