On-Campus Hotel

Opening soon, the 224-room Graduate Hotel on Roosevelt Island will offer hand-crafted, boutique accommodations with floor-to-ceiling skyline views, a full-service restaurant, a rooftop bar, and 5,200 square feet of flexible meeting and event facilities​.

Event Space

The first floor features a large event space that will accommodate up to 300 guests with flexible seating, ideal for banquet dinners, cocktail receptions, conferences, and lectures. Floor to ceiling windows in the main lobby, west and south facades allow for breathtaking views of our campus.

Main Lobby Event/ Pre-function

Enjoy dedicated registration space and/or small reception space in our airy entrance lobby. The entrance lobby can also be rented separately when the event space is not in use. Included in the rental of Event Space.

Gallery Event/ Pre-function

  • Pricing is subject to change.
  • The Verizon Executive Education Center’s standard operating hours are Monday to Friday, 9am-5pm. Any meetings and events which fall outside of these days and hours are subject to additional fees.
  • Room fees include costs related to facilities; engineering; porters; custodial; security; basic IT support; and event and administrative staff.
  • Fees do not include catering or any rentals required for the event. Constellation Culinary Group is the required caterer for Cornell Tech. Constellation will arrange for any rentals needed for receptions or banquets etc.
Additional fees may apply:
  • 15% for events starting before 9am, ending after 5pm, or scheduled during the weekend.
  • 25% for events scheduled on holidays.
  • For set-ups or other needs outside of the basic services.
  • Some groups may be eligible to receive a discount if their event reservation spans multiple days or multiple spaces.

We are unable to accommodate private social functions including weddings anywhere on the Cornell Tech campus.

  • Subway
    Take the F train to the Roosevelt Island stop. Walk south .3 miles on W Road.
  • Tram
    Catch the Tram at 59th street and 2nd Avenue. Campus is just south of the Queensboro bridge station.
  • Ferry
    The Astoria route of NYC Ferry will connect you to a landing just east of campus.
  • Bike
    Access Roosevelt Island by bike via the Roosevelt Island Bridge from 36th Street in Queens, then ride south on Main Street.
  • Bus
    The Q102 bus connects Roosevelt Island to Long Island City and Astoria in Queens.
  • Car
    Access Roosevelt Island by car via the Roosevelt Island Bridge from 36th Street in Queens, then drive south down Main Street.
