November 10, 2026 | Verizon Executive Education Center, Cornell Tech, Roosevelt Island, NYC
Cornell Tech and the Jacobs Technion-Cornell Institute are proud to present the sixth Urban Tech Summit on November 10, 2026, on Roosevelt Island in New York City.
This year’s Urban Tech Summit will examine the ways partnerships enable innovation in a moment when new approaches are increasingly vital. Urban tech innovation is at a crossroads. Cities face mounting pressure to deliver affordability, quality of life, and resilience, all while cutting costs. Meanwhile, traditional sources of public infrastructure funding are in retreat. And an increasingly powerful AI industry is putting cities’ sustainability and equity goals at risk and undermining public trust in technology as a tool for good. The 2026 Urban Tech Summit will explore strategies for the generative city — a place where AI is no longer a threat for responsible innovation, but its catalyst.
It’s already clear that partnerships will be essential. No single institution has the resources or reach to meet this moment alone. But the generative city will require partnerships of a kind we haven’t built before, and powerful AI is reshaping who can be at the table, what they bring, and how they work together. The strategic question is no longer whether to partner, but how.
Tickets will go on sale in September; stay tuned for updates.
