This full-day convening, organized by Cornell Tech’s Urban Tech Hub, will bring together tech leaders, urban innovators, researchers and government officials to explore how advances in AI can:

  • Enable new approaches for financing long-term investments in housing, transportation, open spaces, and energy systems—and managing the partnerships needed to deliver them;
  • Empower new voices in critical urban planning and policymaking processes to mobilize new capacities for civic action;
  • Re-engineer business processes in government, unlocking opportunities for innovations and reforms that improve efficiency, transparency, and accountability.

Full speaker and program details will be released soon. Keynotes, panel sessions, lightning talks, and breakouts will explore four areas where collaborative thinking and doing is most needed to build the capacity everyone needs to move forward. Session topics include:

  • New Partnerships for Urban Sensing and Sensemaking.
  • New Partnerships for Adapting Infrastructure.
  • New Partnerships for Operations.
  • New Partnerships for Public Engagement.
