Campus Conduct
The following rules and regulations are shaped by these guiding principles: the campus is a shared public space, and as such, we ask all individuals to act in ways that respect the well-being and comfort of others, ensure personal and public safety, and preserve the campus environment for everyone’s enjoyment.
- The campus grounds are open to the public from 6:00 AM to 10:00 PM daily.
- No activity is allowed that will damage the landscaping, e.g., walking through the flower beds or picking flowers.
- Pets are to be leashed and cleaned up after.
- Limited athletic activity is allowed, provided it does not negatively impact others using the passive, shared space. No organized games are allowed.
- No structures or items are allowed to be set up, e.g., canopies, furniture, volleyball nets, hammocks, chairs, tables, etc.
- Nothing is allowed to be staked into the ground or tied to anything.
- Existing outside furniture is not to be moved.
- No self-propelled vehicles allowed on the campus, e.g., personal electric vehicles.
- No bike riding, skateboarding, or rollerblading. Young children may use non-motorized scooters or bikes if they are supervised by their parent/guardian and are not creating a hazard to themselves or others.
- No open flames, cooking, grilling, or fuel use.
- Alcohol purchased from the Café is only permitted inside the Café and on the patio. Otherwise, alcohol is not allowed.
- No smoking, vaping, or illicit drug use.
- No feeding or disturbing wildlife.
- No loud activity that disturbs others, e.g., playing music.
- Flying of any object is not allowed, e.g., drones, model airplanes, kites, etc.
- No littering.
- No postering or graffiti allowed.
- No unapproved vending.
