Cornell Tech alumni are making an impact in New York.
In two years, five of the 19 Cornell Tech alumni have founded startups, two have gone through accelerator programs, and one was recognized in “Forbes 30 Under 30” for consumer technology.
Two of those alumni making waves are Robert Parks and Kiran Vajapey, MEng ’14. The pair joined forces with a couple of McKinsey & Company consultants they met through Cornell Tech to found Oystir, a skills-based talent marketplace connecting Ph.D.s and employers.
Parks and Vajapey stopped by the campus to share how Cornell Tech prepared them to start their own company.
