A new era for SRM research is taking shape at Climate Week NYC. 🗽

Cornell Atkinson Center for Sustainability and the Degrees Initiative are bringing together researchers from the Global South and North to launch the world’s first truly global study of how Solar Radiation Modification (SRM) could affect agriculture.

During Climate Week, we will be exploring a new study of global research teams that will use shared data, protocols and SRM scenarios to examine potential impacts on staple crops, creating a more globally connected approach to evaluating one of the most consequential questions in climate research.
