Scott Yoest serves as senior director of IT for the Cornell Tech campus, as well as for the College of Engineering and the Cornell Bowers College of Computing and Information Science on Cornell’s Ithaca campus. He guides the development and implementation of innovative IT strategies and solutions for complex, multidisciplinary, research‑driven environments.
Before joining Cornell, Yoest was a director of IT at the Missouri University of Science and Technology, where he oversaw a broad portfolio of support, research, and administrative services.
Yoest enjoys the unique research environment his IT team supports and spends his free time fishing in various upstate locations.
