Jacqueline Klein is the assistant dean of graduate education at Cornell Tech, where she supports students in all aspects of academic and student life from orientation through graduation. Klein has worked with students on college campuses for more than 20 years in both academic and student affairs.

Before joining Cornell Tech, she helped launch New York University’s newest campus in Shanghai, China, where she lived and worked for the first two years of the campus’s operation. As assistant dean of global affairs at NYU Shanghai, she facilitated the study abroad process for students and created and managed the campus’s academic advising program. Prior to her work in Shanghai, she developed and oversaw the academic advising office at NYU’s College of Nursing.

Klein earned a doctorate in counselor education from the University of Iowa and a master’s degree in counseling and development from Long Island University. She received her bachelor’s degree in psychology, with a minor in French, from the State University of New York at Fredonia. In her free time, she enjoys traveling, reading, and spending time with her husband and two daughters.
