Cheryl is the creator of the AREA Method, a decision-making system for individuals, companies and nonprofits to solve complex problems. AREA is being used in broad domains ranging from high schools to multinational companies, to government agencies and universities. Cheryl is the founder of leadership training and professional development company Decisive. Cheryl teaches as an adjunct professor currently at Columbia Business School and Cornell’s new NYC technology campus. She is the author of two award-winning books on decision-making and has won several journalism awards for her investigative stories about international political, business and economic topics.
