[GREG BRILL] Thread Learning is a data collection analysis and sharing platform for autism teachers. [SAM RAUDABAUGH] Autism is one of the most pressing health issues of our time. [BRILL] Autism teachers track everything that a student does in the classroom all by hand. This is what it looks like. I began working on it a couple months before coming to Cornell Tech, but I didn't have the tools that I needed to do the startup until I met Sam. [RAUDABAUGH] When I saw the work that Greg had done in autism education, I thought, 'we need to build this.' [BRILL] So we started off thinking along the lines of a tool that we were going to put in the hands of teachers and with the help of the staff here, it's evolved into a much more encompassing platform. [RAUDABAUGH] For the first time, we're putting terabytes of invaluable data into the hands of researchers [APPLAUSE] [BRILL] Cornell Tech has an unbelievable team of mentors. [RAUDABAUGH] They're not just teaching you a concept without explaining how you can use this to solve a real problem.
