Christoph Studer is an Assistant Professor at Cornell Tech and in the Electrical and Computer Engineering Department at Cornell University. He received his Ph.D. from ETH Zurich in Electrical Engineering in 2009 and held positions as postdoctoral researcher at ETH Zurich and Rice University. He has been a member of the Cornell faculty since 2014.
Studer’s research is at the intersection of algorithm development, algorithmic theory, and digital very-large scale integration (VLSI) design. Currently, he is working on new technologies for next-generation multi-antenna wireless systems and real-time machine learning for embedded applications. He is a recipient of a US NSF Career Award, a Swiss NSF fellowship for Advanced Researchers, two Swisscom/ICTnet Innovations Awards, and two ETH Medals. He has also received a Michael Tien ’72 teaching award from Cornell.
